There are several outstanding wooden churches in this region of Poland, however, only six are listed as UNESCO World Heritage

St. Michael Archangel's Church in Binarowa is one of the oldest wooden churches in the region of Małopolska.

This Gothic church was built in 1500. It is decorated with numerous sculptures and paintings of angels, which makes it a magical place. Precious figures of the Mother of God and of several saints, dating back to 14th century, are also located in the church. Special attention should be paid to the Guardian Angels' Chapel, added in 17th century, as well as to the wall polychromes depicting biblical scenes. Since 2003, the church in Binarowa has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. - in: http://www.poland.travel/en-us/unesco-world-heritage-sites/st-michael-archangels-church-in-binarowa

Gothic church of St. Michael Archangel is located in Debno Podhalanskie.
The first church at that place was built in 13th century, but only the building from 15th century has remained till today. The interior design of the church is a unique combination of Gothic art and highland folk tradition. The sculptures were made by a local artist, Jozef Janos.
The local legend has it that the church was built by highland robbers, to whom St. Michael Archangel revealed himself on the oak tree.
The church, together with other wooden churches in southern Poland and the Podkarpacie region, was listed on the UNESCO List of World - in: http://www.poland.travel/en-us/unesco-world-heritage-sites/st-michael-archangel%E2%80%99s-church-in-debno-podhalanskie

St. Leonard's Church in Lipnica Murowana is a Gothicwooden church located in the village of Lipnica Murowana from the fifteenth-century, which together with different churches is designated as part of the UNESCO Wooden Churches of Southern Lesser Poland.
The church is located by the Uszwica river, beyond the former levee in Lipnica Murowana. The church was most likely built at the end of the fifteenth-century, on the location of a former church. According to the town's tradition, the church was built in 1143 or 1203 - this date can be seen on the north-east wall of the chancel - in the location of a former pagan chram. - in: wikipedia
